To Qualify to apply to be covered by the “Rent Guarantee Protection”
Existing rent guarantee policies with six months cover are no longer sufficient, due to the likely timescales rising to eight to ten months at the earliest.
New Cover is now available to pay rent arrears for a minimum of twelve months or eighteen months – rent is then paid at one hundred percent up to a maximum of two thousand and fifty pounds rent each month.
Protection cover is reasonably priced and affordable with premiums starting at one hundred and ten pounds per year, up to three hundred and fourteen pounds per year, the average premium will be around seventeen pounds per month or two hundred and fourteen pounds per year depending on cover levels needed.
Cover will be available for all rental properties with postcodes in the UK and Northern Ireland.
The full rent replacement payment can start after two months or can be set up to be paid immediately from the month that a claim is made.
Legal expenses, court fees, the serving of letters and legal notices are covered up to fifty thousand pounds.
